I'm from Shreveport, Louisiana. At Dartmouth, I'm a '14, and this is my first year riding with the team. >> Daniel Holmdahl: When I'm racing, I don't really think about anything. My mind disconnects from the body, and I just ride. I live the cyxling sort of.

Three hours can just -- it just passes in a second like that. >> Michelle Khare: Cycling is such a high stress sport, and we're not a varsity sport, so we don't have a coach, or people planning our trips, or people telling us what to do during a race or how to strategize, and there are actually other teams who we compete with Take a ride with dartmouths cycling club have all of those things. And so, each of us, even if we're not in an administrative role kind of has to assume that role of coach, friend, you know, water boy, anything, and I think that makes us even stronger than the teams who do have.

>> Daniel Holmdahl: Right. >> Michelle Khare: .assisting coaches and support along the way. >> Daniel Holmdahl: It can be really hard to balance academics with sport, but the love for the sport just makes you push yourself even harder in the academics because you know you're here for the academics, but you've got to fit them both into your life, and together, I think we push ourselves to just manage both of them.

This season has been both personally and for the team, the most successful season during Take a ride with dartmouths cycling club time here at Dartmouth. >> Michelle Khare: Ever [chuckles]. >> Daniel Holmdahl: Yes, it's been amazing in terms of wins personally and for the team, and just in terms of how many people we brought to the races.

>> Michelle Khare: It's been an incredible season, and I Take a ride with dartmouths cycling club at a loss when the weekend comes around, and I'm not getting in check this out van going somewhere [chuckles], and I can't wait for next year. [ Silence ]
